Full disclosure: the main reason RantWoman knew anything at all about the Buryats prior to their appearance in Russian invaders casualty accounts is thanks to a grad school colleague, Dr. Robert Montgomery, now a history professor at Baldwin Wallace University. RantWoman is permitting herself to wonder whether Dr. Montgomery has been besieged by media figures wanting him to comment on racism in the Russian military and public opinion.
