RantWoman is taking a break from her abundance of topics in need of rants to note the October 18, 2023 40th anniversary of the US Supreme Court overturning Korematsu vs the United States.
RantWoman is going to let others explain.
And a bit about Quaker Gordon Hirabyashi because Hirabyashi vs United States was also a Supreme Count case that permitted denial of equal rights of citizenship based on race / national origin
RantWoman wishes it were possible to pretend that the present national mood would ensure that such outrages never occur again. Sadly, the main strand of hope has to do with bad decisions getting overturned.
