RantWoman thanks Peggy Senger Morrison for two stories:
--On one of Peggy's trips to Africa, she was helping a widows support group. Peggy reported that, when the women heard about rights expressed in various UN documents, one of the students said something along the lines of "Teacher Peggy, we would be glad to have husbands even if they beat and raped us."
--In Peggy's most recent book "Miracle Motors: a Pert Near True Story" there is a chapter about doing a talk in the morning about experiences with domestic violence and in the afternoon having MANY one-on-one conversations with women who, for a very large number of different reasons just CANNOT leave.
RantWoman has had little time to wade into current news items about domestic violence and the NFL but here is a blog as filing cabinet item should RantWoman eed to say more.

RantWoman holds all these situations in the Light and also holds in the Light people around these situations for whom itis seldom obvious what will help.
