Twitter / X advised RantWoman that today is Orange Shirt Day, in remembrance of all the horrors of Indian schools.
September 30 is also International Translators and Interpreters Day.
RantWoman is wearing an orange shirt and honoring both occasions as follows.
Special shout out to all interpreters everywhere who have risked their lives for the US.
Triple Shout-out when the US government was simultaneously suppressing indigenous languages in Indian schools and relying on Native American interpreters.
