Hannukah gift?

Dear Friend has been reviewing the evening program list for FGC 2010 and forwarded the following:

Dear Friend (overlap with above pseudonym accidental; RantWoman thinks she also received the same item but just has not read it yet) ,

I am excited to announce evening programs for the 2010 FGC Gathering, July 4–10, in Bowling Green, Ohio. And later in this email, you can find out how to sign up for the Gathering Newcomers’ Discount for you or a friend.

Evening Programs
George Lakey, “Conflict as a Gift of the Spirit”
George is a lifelong Quaker non-violence activist who has led workshops in conflict areas on several continents. He currently does conflict research at Swarthmore College.

RantWoman hit Reply/All and wonders whether others will think she was too flip.

What? You think I have a shortage of meshugahs in my life already? What if I want the telenovela version instead? Happy Hannukah to you too!

Peace and Love Always
RantWoman
The exchange that followed brought news of a member of our Meeting leading a weeklong workshop. RantWoman will do a fan post with some VERY humble confessions separately!
