Nor has RantWoman found her groove about what to do with opinions that spill out onto her keyboard.

Morning Joe and Mika on immunity, dementia

#DonTheCon had a terrible childhood which long ago in the 1980's already turned him into a disgusting creep drowning in corruption and racism. WHY ON EARTH did no one in the #GOP have the guts to nix someone who filed bankruptcies and had as many court actions as he did, I will NEVER understand. Now #DonTheCon has deteriorated. He is desperate, depraved, deranged, delusional, and demented. He is a sorry old guy who deserves to go home and TAKE A NAP, or many naps and not try to run the country.

Plus, despite his capacity to energize voters, even MORE voters have also been energized to tell him NO, NO, NO. No in the 2016 popular vote. NO in the 2020 popular AND electoral votes. NO to any more than a red trickle of electoral success for candidates he endorsed. Just NO and voters should not have to keep saying it, especially since they also need to be saying NO to the Congressional #GOP Clown Caucus.

#TFG is also guilty as sin, and he clearly knows it. HOPEFULLY there are voices in the #GOP who also know it and that he will NEVER AGAIN make it to the top of the national ticket.

NO WAY would I support pardoning him or anything that appears to give him a blank pass for all that he is responsible for.

I also am not wedded to the idea of #TFG in prison. I could be persuaded that permanent VERY restrictive house arrest at one of his properties might be a decent outcome and MAYBE that could be negotiated without him or the rest of the country having to endure any more of his capacity to suck all the air out of many conversations. 

He could ALSO, shame free, fess up about whatever health problems he is trying to hide and just cite acute health considerations as a reason to drop out of the Presidential race, make a big show of endorsing one of his sometime competitors, passing the torch, loudly proclaiming that someone can carry on for him. (Please GOD: Nikki Haley is awful but less awful than Ron DiFloridaMan.)

Worst case: go all Britany Spears on him. Appoint a conservator, someone able and obliged to keep him on a VERY short leash. Maybe capture all his electronic emanations before they leave his household network. Set up a chatbot and some rotating zoom / video reels to allow him to nurture the illusion of crowds that continue to adore him. Feed him electronic adulation along with his cheeseburgers. Try to save him from outside input that causes him to throw ketchup bottles at the wall. provide him with very rigorously cleard household staff who adoringly refer to him as "Mr. President.....

With many dementia patients there is no point in trying to convince them of any reality besides what is in their heads. Play along when possible. Just keep them safe. Protect others from their ability to hurt them.

#DonTheCon knows how to dog whistle. Why not realize that #TFG is dog whistling to #GOP racists? MAYBE there is an opportunity here if Nikki Haley could find her groove about aspirations vs reality and shift to why everyone having rights and working to realize them is GOOD for the country. Presto. Instant contrast to that other guy AND next steps on paths past racist divisiveness.
