The Economic Justice Working Group is pleased to invite you to join them for a meeting discussion of the policy issues around Artificial Intelligence (AI). They will be visiting with
- Adam Billen, the co-executive director of Encode, a nonprofit that focuses on advocacy for AI safety and has been involved in several state level bills. Adam grew up attending South Seattle Friends Meeting and now lives in DC.
- Noell Krughoff, the co-clerk of the FCNL Policy Committee. Noell helped craft the FCNL AI policy for federal legislative advocacy. You can find the FCNL AI policy brief here.
- Alecia Gaussoin, a Friend who is involved in the Washington Artificial Intelligence Regulation Group, a coalition working on AI regulations in Washington.
Please come prepared to listen and learn but note that there will not be time to do a deep dive into understanding AI or answering all questions about AI.
