Registration OPEN for NPYM Annual Session, Cherice Bock Friend in Residence

There RantWoman goes being insufferable again. RantWoman thinks her promo copy for NPYM Annual Session is so much more interesting than bland material she has seen.* A reprise:

or go straight to the Annual Session webpage for links about Children's program, Junior Friends, Young Adult Friends, the Quaker Faire.

RantWoman specifically encourages people to check out Interest group options. The registration process invites people to sign up for specific Interest Groups but Friends have the option of switching groups.

Interest Group Options

Readers who might like to contribute to the Grab Bag of Disability threads to be featured at RantWoman's interest groups: please leave a comment.

Also please leave a comment if you have accessibility related requests specifically for RantWoman's interest groups. RantWoman means to add that invitation to her interest groups.

*As always, RantWoman has more to say. RantWoman wants Friends to have clean easy paths for activities that reflect a lot of hard work. RantWoman also feels entitled to offer readers a trip to exotic Planet RantWoman with riffs on may painful themes. Stay tuned.

UPDATE, CONSIDERABLE improvement over the announcements that sparked this blog post and important additional information.

Registration is now open for Annual Session (AS) of North Pacific Yearly Meeting (NPYM).  We will meet virtually via Zoom on July 14-18, 2021. The theme is: Courage in the Face of Fear—Faith, Hope, Love.  The Friend in Residence is Cherice Bock of Sierra Cascades Yearly Meeting.  She teaches and is working on a Ph.D. in environmental studies and has a special interest in ecotheology.

There will be interest groups meeting 2 weekends before AS, as well as those meeting during AS.

The planners are working to provide opportunities for Friends to gather, visit, and worship with Friends across Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

For the children’s program, there will be activities to do at home and chances to share these online.  The only fee is freely chosen contributions.

The schedule via Zoom has events spread out so that people can get away from devices to move and take breaks. Register now at http://as.npym.org/registration for NPYM’s Virtual Annual Session and Pre-AS Interest Groups.

(RantWoman has omitted the contact information offered from Friends with questions. The info has been omitted for reasons of privacy and because RantWoman does not trust herself to be able to be polite if she calls up to ask for permission. Anyone who needs this info, leave a comment and RantWoman will make the connection.)
